How to build a strong player profile
A complete profile, a clear photo and a short video: the three things a scout notices first.
Your profile is your first impression. A scout or a club representative often decides in a few seconds whether to open your page, so the key information has to be visible at first glance.
Fill in what the filters look for
You appear in lists and searches by the fields you have filled in. Add:
- your main and second position
- your year of birth
- your stronger foot
- your height and weight
- your current club and status (in a club, free agent or looking for a club)
- your city
Photo and video
Add a clear, well-lit photo where your face is visible. Then upload two or three short clips to YouTube and paste the links into your profile. The videos play right on ScoutPro, so nobody has to leave the site to watch them.
A short text about yourself
A few sentences about your style of play, your goals and your experience often say more than a long list. Write honestly and to the point.
Why it matters
When you offer yourself to a club or a scout, a player card is built automatically from your profile: photo, position, age, height, foot, club and the video you choose. The more complete your profile, the stronger that card.
