What individual training gives you
In team training everyone follows one plan. Individual training works exactly on your weak points.
At team training the coach thinks about the whole team. An individual coach thinks about you: your position, your foot and the details you have not mastered yet.
What to focus on
- first touch and receiving the ball
- playing with your weaker foot
- speed and coordination
- shooting and finishing
- goalkeeper-specific skills
How often
One or two individual sessions a week are enough to add to team training without overloading yourself. It is important that your team coach also knows about your plan.
How to choose a coach
On ScoutPro, an individual coach's profile shows their focus areas (for example goalkeeper training or speed), their experience and a licence approved by the administrator. A verified coach has a green mark next to their name.
Measure progress
Set a specific goal, for example accurate passing with your weaker foot. After a few weeks, record a video and compare.
