A fan page: how to bring supporters together
A fan page is the supporters' shared home. How it works on ScoutPro and how to keep it in order.
Supporting a team does not end with the final whistle. On a fan page supporters share news, discuss matches and help each other.
Who creates a page
Any registered user can create a fan page from the "Fans" page. A club's official page carries a special badge, so supporters know exactly where the official information is.
Who writes posts
Posts are written by the page owner and the admins the owner appoints. That keeps the page tidy and the news in one place.
What followers can do
- follow the page to keep it close
- like and comment on every post
- talk in the page's shared chat
Keeping order
The owner and admins can delete any post or comment and block anyone who breaks the rules. A blocked user can no longer comment or write in the chat.
Respect
A good fan page respects the rival's supporters too. Insults and hate speech are not allowed on ScoutPro.
